This was a mechanical and body overhaul for a customer with a belt and braces approach. The Land Rover was going to be used a lot after the overhaul so was fully inspected mechanically. The pitted front axles swivels and suspect head gasket were both renewed and it got a full service. The bodywork was stripped off ,(when we paint a land rover this is the extent we go to so you get a job that lasts, no paint on the rubber seals and no bad looking paint edges to flake off) repaired and painted, repairing and reskinning the doors, all the steel work was shot blasted and powder coated and finally the chassis was wax oiled and undersealed.
